Today I am going to work on my movie poster with a voice over. The apps I am using for the poster is PicsArt and ibisPaint X. Here is my final product of the movie poster:
Editing:
My first step in editing was cutting out the girls in the original photo to paste onto my poster. It took me about 6 minutes total to cut out the girls. Next, I had to find a good position to place them onto the poster. After I positioned them in the middle of the poster, I typed out the word "Caged" and then looked for a font that I thought would fit the aesthetic of the poster. After I looked up examples of real-life movie posters, and my main inspiration for the words at the bottom was the Jaws movie poster. After I cut out the picture of a tiger and added it to the background to look like it is praying on the girls. After all the words were done and colored, I added shading on ibisPaint X to the girls faces and added shadows to the girls and the tiger. It adds a mysterious affect to the poster.
Filming:
For filming I used the PodCastle (the same app used to film my podcast) to record my voiceover for the poster. Since I already had my script previous written, I just followed it which helped the voice over process go by quick and easy. Then I added the audio clip to CapCut under the picture of the poster. After that the poster with the voice over was complete! The question I answered was, "How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?"
